Courtney Hanlon | Exeter & Lucan Locations
B.Kin (Hons), MPT | Registered Physiotherapist
Courtney is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University. Growing up, she was actively involved in competitive sports, including soccer and dance, which helped shape her passion for movement and rehabilitation. Today, she stays active through strength training, Pilates, and keeping up with her dog, Toby.
Courtney’s personal commitment to health and fitness strongly influences her approach to physiotherapy. She understands the value of staying active and strives to help individuals of all ages recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Her treatment approach is patient-centred and rooted in evidence-based practice. Courtney focuses on delivering individualized care, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of her patients. She combines manual therapy, acupuncture, and customized exercise programming to support recovery, improve function, and promote long-term health.
Courtney has pursued extensive post-graduate training to support her patients further. She has completed additional certification in concussion management through Concussion Rehab Works, equipping her to assess and treat head injuries and related symptoms such as dizziness, concussions, and balance impairments.
She has also completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 pelvic health training through Pelvic Health Solutions. Courtney provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of pelvic health concerns, including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction (such as vaginismus, vulvodynia, pudendal neuralgia, tailbone pain, and chronic pelvic pain), pregnancy and postpartum care, bowel dysfunction (including constipation, urgency, and incontinence), post-surgical rehabilitation, sexual health concerns, and core and breathing dysfunction.
In addition, Courtney has completed training in labour and birth preparation, pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction, and functional pelvic floor strength training. She is also a certified Pilates instructor, with additional training in prenatal and postpartum Pilates, allowing her to integrate movement-based rehabilitation into her practice.
